As of 3 p.m. on Sunday, March 29, the Missouri Department of Health and Senior Services (DHSS) has reported more than 900 positive cases of COVID-19 have been confirmed in the state.
According to the DHSS, the total number of positive cases in the state confirmed is 903- up from 838 on Saturday, March 28- including 12 deaths.
In the KMMO listening area, one case has been confirmed in each Chariton, Cooper and Pettis Counties; and four in Lafayette County (although county health officials report 12 confirmed cases).
In addition, 50 positive cases have been confirmed in Boone County; nine in Johnson County; and one in each Benton, Henry, Randolph and Ray County.
There have been a total of approximately 14,107 tests conducted.
DHSS expects the next update to be made at 2 p.m. on Monday, March 30.
