Residents of one area community lined up to get their hands on a product that’s extremely hard to find these days.
An anonymous donor recently provided hand sanitizer for Carroll County residents. With this anonymous donation, the Carroll County Health Department was able to dispense hand sanitizer to its residents between 10 a.m. and noon Wednesday morning.
Families were asked to bring a bottle or container and were allowed an amount equal to a two-liter bottle. The line for the drive-thru began at the intersection of Route E and Green’s Addition (Walnut Drive). Residents were asked to sign a release form warning that the product is flammable and is not to be sold.
The Carroll County Health Department, with the help of the Carrollton Fire and Police Departments and workers with the Carroll County Road and Bridge Department, distributed hand sanitizer to 160 families in the community.
Carroll County Health Department officials say they would like to do this distribution again in the near future. Stay tuned to KMMO for details on the time and location for the next event.
