The average high temperature climbed considerably in March from February at the KMMO studio in Marshall.
According to statistics provided by the National Weather Service, the average high temperature was 56.4 degrees in March, as compared to 41.9 degrees in February. The high of 75 degrees was recorded on March 29.
The average low temperature of 37.1 degrees in March also was much higher than the 23.6-degree average in February. The low of 26 degrees was recorded on March 21 and 22.
Measurable precipitation was registered on 14 of the 31 days- totaling 5.42 inches. That was a little more than four inches more than February’s total of 1.24 inches. On March 10, an inch and a tenth of rain fell at the KMMO Studio.
