As of 2 p.m. on Tuesday, March 31, the Missouri Department of Health and Senior Services (DHSS) has reported the number of positive cases of COVID-19 confirmed in the state increased by more than 25 percent than the day before.
According to the DHSS, the total number of positive cases in the state confirmed is 1,327- up from 1,031 on Monday, March 30- including 14 deaths.
In the KMMO listening area, 19 cases have been confirmed in Lafayette County; four in Chariton County; two in Cooper County; and one in Pettis County.
In addition, 64 positive cases have been confirmed in Boone County; 10 in Johnson County; two in Randolph County; and one in each Benton, Henry and Ray County.
There have been a total of approximately 15,645 tests conducted.
One death has been reported in each Lafayette, Boone and Henry County.
DHSS expects the next update to be made at 2 p.m. on Wednesday, April 1.
