The Missouri Highways and Transportation Commission has approved a contract to resurface the entire length of Route Y in Howard County.
A news release says Capital Paving and Construction was awarded the contract after submitting the low bid of $506,582.
Work is scheduled to begin this summer.
MoDOT will alert the public with updates through signs, news releases and social media once a start date has been determined.
