A 57-year-old Fayette man has died from injuries he suffered in a motorcycle crash in Howard County on Monday, March 30.
According to a report from the Missouri State Highway Patrol, the crash occurred as a northbound Indian Roadmaster, driven by Larry Koenig, traveled off the right side of the roadway, returned to the roadway, overturned and ejected the driver.
The crash happened at 3:59 p.m. on Missouri Highway 5, six-tenths of a mile south of County Road 423.
Koenig was flown by MU Air Care helicopter to University Hospital in Columbia for treatment of serious injuries. According to an updated report, Koenig was pronounced deceased by a doctor at 1:12 a.m. on Thursday, April 2.
