As of 2 p.m. on Sunday, April 5, the Missouri Department of Health and Senior Services (DHSS) has reported the number of total positive cases of COVID-19 confirmed in the state is 2,367- including 34 deaths. Those numbers are up from 2,113 and 19, respectively, on Friday, April 3.
As of Saturday, April 4, 27,173 tests had been conducted.
In the KMMO listening area, 27 cases have been confirmed in Lafayette County; four in Chariton County; three in Saline County; and two in each Cooper and Pettis County.
In addition, 76 positive cases have been confirmed in Boone County; 29 in Johnson County; seven in Randolph County; four in Ray County; three in Benton County; two in Henry County; and one in each Linn and Livingston County.
One death has been reported in each Lafayette, Boone and Henry County.
DHSS expects the next update to be made at 2 p.m. on Monday, April 6.
