Marshall Mayor Julie Schwetz has issued a sanitation notice for the city’s residents.
Schwetz says due to COVID-19 and beginning Tuesday, April 7, recycled paper products are no longer being picked up curbside. Until further notice, all recycling will be disposed in the same manner as your regular trash.
All trash (including recyclables) is to be bagged and placed curbside by 7 a.m. on your day of service.
Schwetz says to store red recycle boxes until the city can recycle its paper products again.
Schwetz says do not approach the city’s sanitation crews while they are out on the routes.
