During the meeting of the Slater City Council on Thursday, April 9, Mayor Dr. Stephen Allegri gave an update on how the city is handling the COVID-19 pandemic.

Dr. Allegri also said all public service departments will be closed to the public.

Dr. Allegri also noted the citywide garage sale has been postponed.
In other news, the council also voted to postpone its next meeting to Tuesday, May 5.
