The Saline County Health Department, reported another nine cases of COVID-19 Friday
This makes a total of 28 positive cases confirmed in Saline County.
The Lafayette County Health Department confirmed one more case of COVID-19 on Friday.
This also makes a total of 28 positive cases confirmed in Lafayette County.
County health officials in Lafayette County also report ten people have recovered.
As of 2 p.m. Friday, Carroll County still has not reported any positive cases of the virus, Howard County has one confirmed case, three in Cooper County, while Chariton and Pettis county both have four confirmed cases. There have been 36 confirmed cases in Johnson County.
Area Health Departments continue to work with the Missouri Department of Health and Senior Services (DHSS) and the CDC to identify anyone who may have come into contact with the individuals while they were infectious.
The patients have been quarantined at home since the initial test. No further information will be provided about these individuals by the Health Department.
