A Sedalia woman sustained moderate injuries following a traffic crash in Pettis County on Thursday.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol reports the crash occurred when 52-year-old Timothy Holland, of Sedalia, was eastbound when he came up on a traffic hazard in his 2003 Nissan Pathfinder. Holland swerved and then overcorrected as he crested a hill causing his vehicle to skid across the road, where he struck a ditch. Holland’s vehicle became airborne and came to rest on a fence.
Holland sustained minor injuries while his passenger, 54-year-old Sherry Rose of Sedalia suffered moderate injuries. Holland was transported by private party for treatment. Rose was transported by Pettis County Ambulance to Bothwell Regional Hospital for treatment.
The crash happened at approximately 4:30 p.m. Thursday, April 9 at Schondeimaier and Hazel Hill Road.
