The confirmed number of positive cases of COVID-19 in the state of Missouri has topped 4,000 as of 2 p.m. on Saturday, April 11.
According to the Department of Health and Senior Services, the total number of positive cases is 4,024- up from 3,799 cases on Friday, April 10.
There have been 45,064 tests conducted by all labs.
The number of deaths increased from 96 to 109 from Friday to Saturday.
In the KMMO listening area, 27 cases have been confirmed in Lafayette County (although healthcare officials in the county confirm 28); 22 in Saline County (although healthcare officials in the county now confirm 31); four in each Chariton and Cooper County; three in Pettis County; and one in Howard County.
In addition, 79 positive cases have been confirmed in Boone County; 37 in Johnson County; eight in Randolph County; seven in Ray County; four in Henry County; three in each Benton and Linn County; and one in Livingston County.
One death has been reported in each Lafayette, Boone and Henry County.
DHSS expects the next update to be made at 2 p.m. on Sunday, April 12.
