Mayor Joe Aull delivered his third weekly address to the residents of Lexington since late March on Friday, April 10.
In part of his message, Aull says there are three different orders or ordinances that are in effect right now. He said the city passed a “Stay-At-Home” Ordinance on March 27; the county commission passed a “Stay-At-Home” Ordinance on March 30; and on April 3, Governor Mike Parson announced a “Stay-At-Home” Order for the state.

Aull says he hears people express every so often “I think you all are overreacting to this.”

Aull says he’s been asked about whether or not citizens should wear a mask to cover their nose and mouth.

Aull also added the annual citywide cleanup event is still on the schedule to begin on May 2 and run through May 10. Aull also noted the city council meeting that was scheduled for Tuesday, April 14, has been canceled. He said the next council meeting is scheduled to be held on Tuesday, April 28.
