Pettis County Presiding Commissioner David Dick issued a message to citizens on Friday, April 17.
Dick says the positive number of cases of COVID-19 increased significantly during the week. The health center says, the more it tests, the more it will find.
Dick says the health center will continue to test, and when the numbers go down and the tests go up, then the business community can open up again.
Dick continued….
Dick said patience is not always everyone’s strong suit, particularly when residents have been staying at home for a month now. “As a community, we can do what we need to do and stop spreading this virus. We just need to understand that what we are doing by staying at home will help everyone get the end quicker. Things will get better. We can get through this together.”
