Due to COVID-19, the city of Marshall suspended pickup of yard waste for the time being.
During the meeting of the city council on Monday, April 20, it was announced there will be some additional hours for the compost area to be open for residents’ use. City Administrator David Haugland explains.
Haugland encourages residents to help out neighbors, if necessary.
So, the compost area will be open from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Mondays, Wednesdays and Saturdays; and from noon to 4 p.m. on Tuesdays and Fridays at least through the current COVID-19 concerns. Note: The Tuesday hours are beginning on April 28.
