As of 3 p.m. on Wednesday, April 22, the number of positive cases of COVID-19 confirmed in Saline County was 106, according to the Saline County Health Department.
That total has increased again as of 8:30 a.m. on Thursday, April 23.
According to Fitzgibbon Hospital, the number of positive cases now confirmed in the county is 111, with 251 pending. Out of the 1,039 tests conducted on Saline County residents, 677 have been negative.
Fitzgibbon Hospital also has conducted 130 tests on residents of Lafayette County, with 18 positive, 16 pending and 96 negative. Other counties: Carroll County- six pending and 21 negative; Chariton- five pending and 23 negative; Cooper- eight pending and nine negative; Howard- one pending and 16 negative; Pettis- four positive, 33 pending and 34 negative.
The hospital has performed testing on residents of several Missouri counties and even some non-Missouri residents. In all, the hospital shows there has been a total of 1,367 tests conducted, with 134 positive, 324 pending and 909 negative.
