The Missouri Department of Transportation will be installing temporary signals on Highway 65 in Pettis County next week.
According to the department, the northbound and southbound lanes of Highway 65 at Routes H and HH will be closed at different points of the installation process beginning Monday.
The northbound lanes is scheduled to be closed from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Monday with the southbound lane Is scheduled to be closed during the same time period on Tuesday. Drivers can expect periodic closures of both lanes between 9 a.m. and 3 p.m. on Wednesday.
As part of the signal installation, MoDOT will reduce the speed limit to 55 miles per hour from Route HH south into Sedalia.
All work is weather permitting.
