The Missouri Department of Health and Senior Services reports the total number of positive cases of COVID-19 confirmed in the state increased by nearly 200 on Thursday, April 23.
As of 2 p.m. Thursday, DHSS says the positive number of cases is 6,321- up from 6,137 on Wednesday, April 22.
There have been 59,266 tests conducted by all labs (although that total was not updated on Thursday).
The number of deaths increased to 218 on Thursday from 208 on Wednesday.
DHSS expects the next update to be made at 2 p.m. on Friday, April 24.
