
The Missouri Small Business Development Center (SBDC) is launching a social-media campaign to support small businesses across the state.
According to a news release, the “Support Small Businesses Five-Day Challenge” is a way that everyone can support small businesses from the safety of their home, said Sherry Noller, Missouri SBDC associate state director.
A six-part video series will consist of an announcement video Sunday, April 26, followed by daily challenges the rest of the week, Noller said. Examples of challenges include tagging small businesses on social media, purchasing gift cards, writing online reviews and sending caring messages to small-business owners.
The campaign was an idea from the North Central Iowa SBDC and shared with Missouri’s and other SBDCs across the nation.
New videos will be available daily April 26-May 1 by following @MissouriSBDC on Facebook, Instagram or Twitter.
