The total number of positive cases of COVID-19 confirmed in the state surpassed the 7,000 mark on Monday, April 27..
According to the Missouri Department of Health and Senior Services, as of 2 p.m., the positive number of cases is 7,171- up from 6,997 on Sunday.
There have been 73,371 tests conducted by all labs.
The number of deaths increased to 288 on Monday from 274 on Sunday. However, the agency does not list how many patients have recovered.
DHSS expects the next update to be made at 2 p.m. on Tuesday, April 28.
