A 27-year-old Nelson resident who is facing sex-related felony charges involving a juvenile is due in court this week.
A probable-cause statement says the child’s mother reported during the late evening hours of Saturday, March 28, the girl complained to her that she was experiencing physical discomfort from inappropriate sexual acts.
On March 31, the girl described the incident in explicit details to a child-safe investigator.
Kenneth Dean Nease II has been charged with a Class A Felony for Child Molestation in the First Degree; and an Unclassified Felony for Sodomy or Attempted Sodomy in the First Degree. Bond remains at $250,000 cash only.
Nease was arraigned on April 6. A release hearing is scheduled to be held at 10 a.m. on Wednesday, April 29, at Saline County Circuit Court.
