Lafayette County Health Department confirmed three new cases of COVID-19. This makes a total of 36 cases of COVID-19 in Lafayette County.
The department is reporting out of this total there are 25 cases which have recovered and two people in Lafayette County have died due to the virus.
Residents are urged to continue to follow current social distancing recommendations to help protect those in thier households and in the community. Stay home if you can.
If you are working, go to work and go home. Be sure you are working at a safe distance from co-workers. If you need groceries or other household necessities, get what you need and then go home. Wear a cloth mask in crowded situations. Enjoy the outdoors on your own property and don’t invite over the entire block.
