The number of positive cases of COVID-19 in Saline County has almost reached the 200 mark but the number of active cases is much less than that.
Saline County Health Department Administrator, Tara Brewer reports there are 192 total positive cases in Saline County with only 121 of those cases currently active.
Out of those cases, 71 patients have recovered. There have still been no COVID-19 related deaths in Saline County.
No further information will be provided about these individuals by the agency.
The Health Department continues to work on contact tracing to identify anyone who may have come into contact with the individuals while they were infectious. Those contacts will be asked to self-quarantine for 14 days, and will be monitored for symptoms of the virus.
Citizens of Saline County are urged to take personal responsibility for themselves and their families.
