Two Missouri residents suffered serious injuries in a rollover four-wheeler crash in Johnson County on Wednesday.
A report from the Missouri State Highway Patrol says the crash occurred as a northbound Honda, driven by 21-year-old Corey Reding, of Blue Springs, traveled off the roadway, overturned and ejected both occupants.
Reding was transported by Johnson County Ambulance to Research Main Hospital; and a 14-year-old girl, of Kingsville, was flown by air ambulance to Children’s Mercy Hospital in Kansas City for treatment. Neither of the four-wheeler’s occupants was wearing a safety device.
The crash happened at 9:45 p.m. on Southwest 1601, just south of Southwest 700 Road.
