During Saline County’s COVID-19 Weekly Briefing on Friday, county officials made the decision to extend the COVID-19 Mitigation Order through May 10, 2020.
To help in continuing the spread of the virus, Saline County Health Administrator, Tara Brewer said restaurants will not be able to open for dine in customers until May 16th.

Brewer pointed out this extension will allow the county a little more breathing room to see if the positive number of COVID-19 cases goes up again.

Brewer said those inspections will take place for each restaurant or facility during the week of May 11-15. For more information or to set up an inspection appointment, business owners can call the department at 660-886-3434.
