The number of total confirmed cases of COVID-19 continues to inch up in Saline County. However, a lot of the patients have recovered.
According to Saline County Health Department Administrator Tara Brewer, as of Sunday, May 3, the total increased to 202- up from 199 on Saturday.
Brewer says 96 of those patients have recovered, leaving 106 active cases; and no deaths.
No further information will be provided about the infected individuals by the agency.
The Health Department continues to work on contact tracing to identify anyone who may have come into contact with the individuals while they were infectious. Those contacts will be asked to self-quarantine for 14 days, and will be monitored for symptoms of the virus.
