The Higginsville Board of Aldermen approved several items during its meeting on Monday, May 4.
According to City Administrator Jeanette Dobson, the board gave its OK to an ordinance adopting a Pandemic Virus Preparedness Plan.

Also approved was an ordinance involving billboards.

It is a one-year lease agreement with Lamar Companies on an existing billboard located at the city’s South Lagoon on I-70.
In other news, Dobson said the board approved a proclamation to recognize EMS Week from May 17-23.
