MMU Electric customers will see a rate reduction starting next month.
During a special session meeting on Wednesday, May 6, 2020 the Marshall City County voted to approve the recommended 7.5-percent rate reduction on all MMU electric charges. This reduction will go into effect on June 1.
According to Marshall City Administrator, Dave Haugland, the recommendation was made by MMU General Manager, Jeff Bergstrom during the council’s meeting on Monday, May 4.
In other news the council announced that yard waste pick up will resume the week of May 18.
