The total number of positive cases of COVID-19 increased by three, but the number of patients to recover from COVID-19 increased by a bigger total in Saline County on Tuesday, May 5.
According to Saline County Health Department Administrator Tara Brewer, the total number of positive cases of COVID-19 in the county is now 206- up from 203 on Monday. However, 112 patients have recovered- compared to 100 the day before- leaving 94 active cases. And no deaths have been reported.
No further information will be provided about the infected individuals by the agency.
The Health Department continues to work on contact tracing to identify anyone who may have come into contact with the individuals while they were infectious. Those contacts will be asked to self-quarantine for 14 days, and will be monitored for symptoms of the virus.
