A Knob Noster man suffered serious injuries in a vehicle crash early Saturday morning.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol reports the crash occurred when the eastbound vehicle driven by 36-year-old Joshua Lackey traveled off the roadway, before returning to the road where he began to skid. The front bumper of Lackey’s vehicle struck a ditch, causing his 2001 Chevrolet to spin. Lackey was ejected from the vehicle before it overturned and came to rest on its wheels.
Lackey was reportedly not wearing a seat belt. He was transported by Johnson County Ambulance to Centerpoint Medical Center for treatment of serious injuries.
The crash happened around 12:45 a.m. on U.S. Highway 50, west of County Road 651.
