A 58-year-old Cheyenne, Wyoming, man sustained moderate injuries in a two-vehicle crash in Pettis County on Saturday.
According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, the crash occurred as Billy Splane failed to yield his northbound vehicle to and struck a freightliner, driven by 40-year-old Charles Muriuki, of St. Louis, which was turning from Southbound U.S. Highway 65 onto eastbound Rebar Road.
Splane was transported by EMS to Bothwell Regional Health Center for treatment. Muriuki was not injured.
The crash happened at 7:57 a.m.
