The total number of positive cases of COVID-19 confirmed in the state by the Missouri Department of Health and Senior Services is now more than 9,600.
According to DHSS, as of 2 p.m. on Saturday, May 9, the total number of cases in the state increased by more than 300 from Thursday, May 7, from 9,341 to 9,666.
As of 2 p.m. on Thursday, May 7, 108,721 tests had been conducted by all labs.
The number of deaths increased to 472- up from 417 on Thursday. However, DHSS does not report how many positive COVID-19 patients have recovered.
DHSS expects the next update to be made at 2 p.m. on Sunday, May 10.
