John F. Bucksath, age 89, of Slater, died Monday, May 11, 2020.
Funeral services will be held at Campbell-Lewis Chapel in Marshall. Burial will follow at Ridge Park Cemetery. There will not be a formal visitation, but friends may call from 1 to 2 p.m. Thursday, May 14, at the funeral home. If you choose to come by the funeral home, face masks are required, and social distancing will be observed.

Survivors include two children, John D. Bucksath (Melissa), of Overland Park, KS, and Nancy Bechtold (Roy), of Rocheport; three grandchildren: Emily Bucksath, Ashley Bucksath and Derrick Bechtold; one brother, Joe Bucksath, of New Mexico; two sisters, Mary Bearden, of Salisbury, and Jane Grossman, of Gladstone; as well as nieces, nephews and other extended family.
In addition to his parents, Christopher William Bucksath and Margaret Theresa McGee Bucksath, and wife, Dorothia Mae Richards; he was preceded in death by one daughter, Carolyn Eales; and five brothers: Robert, Richard, Bill, Jerry and Chris Bucksath.
