An area school district reminds parents and students about an important date this week.
According to a news release from the New Franklin R-1 School District, all packet materials, items belonging to the school district- including Chromebooks and chargers and library books; and lunch/school fees will be collected from 2 to 5 p.m. on Wednesday, May 13.
At that time, the district also will be handing out your child’s school supplies and belongings from their desks and lockers.
Distribution of items for students in preschool through fifth grade will be in the circle drive in front of the elementary school. Distribution for middle school and high school students will be on the east side of the school by the new gym entrance.
You are urged to remain at your vehicle, and the items will brought to you. All social-distancing protocol will be followed.
