The short two-day stretch of less than 100 positive COVID-19 cases being confirmed in the state was broken on Wednesday, May 13.
According to the Missouri Department of Health and Senior Services, as of 2 p.m., the total number of cases in the state was 10,142- up from 10,006- on Tuesday, May 12.
The number of deaths increased from 524 on Tuesday to 542 on Wednesday. However, DHSS does not report how many positive COVID-19 patients have recovered.
Approximately 126,935 tests have been conducted by all labs.
DHSS expects the next update to take place at 2 p.m. on Thursday, May 14.
