The number of positive cases of COVID-19 continues to inch up in an area county.
According to a release from Carroll County Health Department Administrator Roberta Hartwig, the county now has seven positive cases of COVID-19. Investigation of possible contacts is still under way.
At least one of the new cases is not related to any of the other cases.
Hartwig urges residents to continue to be vigilant about hand washing and social distancing. She also urges you to stay home if you are sick.
