The Saline County Health Department reported six new positive cases and the second COVID-19 related death in the county on Friday, May 15, 2020.
Department Administrator, Tara Brewer reported the latest death related to COVID-19 in Saline County was a 47-year-old female resident.
According to the numbers based on case management provided by the department staff, the number of confirmed positive cases of COVID-19 rose by six since Thursday, bringing the total number to 247. An additional 12 people have recovered (193), leaving just 54 active cases in Saline County.
There are six people who remain hospitalized and there have been a total of two deaths in the county.
