The Marshall Municipal Utilities’ Board of Public Works approved a couple of bids to do some work at a property MMU owns on Benton Avenue.
General Manager Jeff Bergstrom gives details about the roof needing to be replaced.

Bergstrom also said the board approved a bid from McCorkle Heating and Cooling for $1,996.18 for repairs to the HVAC units at the building.
In other news, Bergstrom said the board talked about the USDA 50/50 Rural Broadband ReConnect Loan/Grant Agreement.

Residents and businesses in the covered area will be able to have access to broadband internet service once the project is complete.
