A Nelson resident who has been charged with a sex-related felony involving a juvenile has a court proceeding scheduled this week.
A probable-cause statement says the child’s mother reported during the late evening hours of Saturday, March 28, the girl complained to her that she was experiencing physical discomfort from inappropriate sexual acts.
On March 31, the girl described the incident in explicit details to a child-safe investigator.
Kenneth Dean Nease II, who is now 28, has been charged with a Class A Felony for Child Molestation in the First Degree; and an Unclassified Felony for Sodomy or Attempted Sodomy in the First Degree. Bond remains at $250,000 cash only.
Nease was arraigned on April 6. A confined-docket hearing is scheduled to be held at 10 a.m. on Wednesday, May 20, at Saline County Circuit Court.
