Saline County Southern District Commissioner Monte Fenner gave an update on the progress of the construction of the water tower near Marshall Junction.
During the meeting of the commission on Tuesday, May 19, Fenner said the project is mostly complete.
Commissioners broke ground for the water tower in January. It is located about a mile or so east of the junction of U.S. Highway 65 and I-70. Funding for the nearly $700,000 water tower is coming from the Develop Saline County half-cent sales tax voters approved in April 2018.
