With the many communities starting to reopen, the threat of spreading the novel coronavirus is still a possibility. Although the number of active cases in Saline County continues to rise, positive cases continue to trickle in on a daily basis. Many people are wondering how much longer we will be dealing with this virus.
Saline County Health Department’s Lisa Thomas says there are a number of opinions on that subject but it’s really unclear on how long COVID-19 will be an issue.

Thompson says the warmer weather may help but it’s still a guessing game.

The Health Department continues to urge people to practice the Social Distancing guidelines that are in place, practice good hygiene and wear a face mask when out in public.
