During the meeting of the Marshall City Council on Monday, May 18, Mayor Julie Schwetz asked if a makeup date has been set for the Citywide Cleanup that was postponed in early April due to COVID-19.
Ward 3 Councilman Dan Brandt replied.

Brandt said it might be something where the city will ask citizens to take their items to the station where the city has the roll-off dumpsters, and throw the items in the dumpsters- whether it’s couches, beds, etc. However, he said they still need to discuss it more with Municipal Services.
Schwetz made a suggestion to help those without the means to get items to the site, if a drop-off event is the outcome.
