Increasing by just more than 275, the total number of confirmed positive cases of COVID-19 in the state was 11,232 as of 2 p.m. on Wednesday, May 20.
According to the Missouri Department of Health and Senior Services, the total number of cases was 10,945 on Tuesday, May 19.
The number of COVID-19-related deaths increased to 631- up from 616 on Tuesday. However, DHSS does not report how many positive COVID-19 patients have recovered.
There have been 161,984 tests conducted by all labs.
DHSS expects the next update to take place at 2 p.m. on Thursday, May 21.
