The total number of confirmed positive cases of COVID-19 is nearing 12,000 in Missouri.
According to the Missouri Department of Health and Senior Services, as of 2 p.m. on Sunday, May 24, the total number of confirmed cases was 11,988- up from 11,340 on Thursday, May 21.
The number of COVID-19-related deaths increased to 681- up from 661 on Thursday, May 21. However, DHSS does not report how many positive COVID-19 patients have recovered.
DHSS expects the next update to take place at 2 p.m. on Monday, May 25.
