American Legion Post 191 and Veterans’ of Foreign Wars Post 2646 presented the annual Memorial Day Remembrance Ceremony on the southeast corner of the square in Marshall on Monday, May 25. Due to the COVID-19 Pandemic, the ceremony was abbreviated.
Chaplain Colonel United States Civil Air Patrol David Van Horn presented the opening statement regarding what Memorial Day is all about.

Five-year National Guard Veteran Sharae Kelley delivered the prayer.

Van Horn then read a selection from the “Wisdom of Solomon” prior to the 21-Gun Salute, the playing of TAPS and the closing prayer.
