It has been nearly two weeks since Carroll County reported a new case of COVI-19.
As of Tuesday, the Carroll County Health Department is reporting nine positive cases of the virus have been confirmed throughout the county.
According to Carroll County Health Department Administrator, Roberta Hartwig, only three people remain quarantined and the other six have been released from observation.
Health Department staff continues to work on locating and notifying anyone who may have come into close contact with the individuals and possibly exposed to the virus. Persons who may have been exposed will be given guidance and will be closely monitored for development of any symptoms.
The community is urged to continue to follow social distancing guidelines and good hygiene practices.
