Up by another 100-plus, the total number of confirmed positive cases of COVID-19 is nearing 12,300 in Missouri.
As of 2 p.m. on Tuesday, May 26, the Missouri Department of Health and Senior Services reports the total number of confirmed cases is 12,291- up from 12,167 on Monday, May 25.
The number of COVID-19-related deaths increased to 686 on Tuesday from 685 on Monday. However, DHSS does not report how many positive COVID-19 patients have recovered.
DHSS expects the next update to take place at 2 p.m. on Wednesday, May 27.
