Two men were arrested after the execution of a search warrant on Tuesday, May 26.
According to a press release, at approximately 5:40 a.m. Sedalia Police officers executed a search warrant in the 700 Block of North Grand Avenue. Three subjects were located inside residence.
A search of the residence revealed approximately $20,575 worth of stolen items from a theft that occurred in Sedalia between February 24 and March 2, 2020. Marijuana paraphernalia also was located inside the residence.
Gary McKinsey Jr. was transported to the Pettis County Jail, where he was placed on a 24-Hour hold pending charges for felony stealing and unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia.
Another subject was transported to the Pettis County Jail where he was booked and released for unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia. However formal charges against that subject have not been filed at this time. The other subject was not named in the release.
McKinsey has been charged with a Class D Felony for Stealing of $750 of More. Bond has been set at $7,500 cash or surety.
McKinsey’s initial hearing is pending at Pettis County Circuit Court.
