Melvin Kerksiek, age 78, of Blackburn, died Friday, May 1, 2020.
The family will hold a memorial graveside service at 11 a.m. Monday, June 1, at Sunset Gardens Cemetery in Marshall. If you choose to come to the graveside service, face masks are required, and social distancing will be observed.

In addition to his wife, Janette; Melvin is survived by two sons, Sheldon Kerksiek (Tammy), of Marshall, and Loren Kerksiek (Karyn), of Elmwood; and five grandchildren: Spencer Kerksiek, Jacob Kerksiek (Christie), Aaron Kerksiek, Dalton Kerksiek and Katlyn Kerksiek.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Ed Kerksiek and Verna Kueck Kerksiek.
