The confirmed total number of positive cases of COVID-19 in the state of Missouri is now more than 12,500.
According to the Missouri Department of Health and Senior Services, as of 2 p.m. on Thursday, May 28, the total is 12,673- up from 12,492 on Wednesday, May 27.
The number of COVID-19-related deaths increased to 707 on Thursday from 695 on Wednesday. However, DHSS does not report how many positive COVID-19 patients have recovered.
DHSS expects the next update to take place at 2 p.m. on Friday, May 29.
